TRAA Fishing Evening - Thursday, August 14, 2025

During our summer hiatus from General Meetings, TRAA members will instead meet once a week for an evening of fishing. Each Thursday evening throughout August will bring us to a different spot on the Thames River at around 5:30pm, or whenever you can make it.

On August 21st, we'll be fishing the South Branch as it flows in behind the Pottersburg Off-Leash Dog Park.

While the water remains low throughout the Thames River system, this section still features some interesting pools and current seams. A couple of us fished it upstream a couple weeks ago and did OK, even in the heat wave. We didn't even try downstream!

Turn south off of Hamilton Road opposite Gore Road toward the pollution plant and park beside the Pottersburg Off-Leash Dog Park.

Target species are smallmouth bass, carp and river redhorse with chances at pike and freshwater drum.

TRAA General Meeting - Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 7:00PM

This will be our first General Meeting after the summer break so make sure you're there to get caught up on all the background, all the decisions, and all the scoops firsthand. And, if you're there, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in the discussions!

As always, guests are always welcome.

The venue is the WOFGPA clubhouse, 790 Southdale Road East, London, ON.

See you there!
